Starting this blog from a desk in an apartment that was gifted through my brother and his wife. One of many blessings experienced over the past few months. The apartment is on the third floor in a building in a section of Pittsburgh. I've been here almost a week and will be leaving before another week is through. (hopefully)

Gidae is the word I found when I was looking for the Korean translation of the English word "hope". I don't have anything fancy to say other than I've put all my hope in Jesus. Without him, I would've been another statistic of suicides back in the 90s. I would've been wiped from the planet, but I'm here, 25 years later to say that my hope has carried me through so many struggles. Ups and major downs that could've also wiped me out but didn't. Maybe someday I will talk about them, but I will leave them for now.

I am currently waiting on the arrival of my passport from the Korean consulate in Atl. I was told it would be available after August 1st, but I was hoping it would arrive sooner. In the meantime I'm trying to handle the future and what it means for quarantine and taxes next year. I shouldn't worry about that, but my nature doesn't allow. It's a means to prepare me so I wind up shocked
