groceries # 2

Just received my second grocery order. The lady delivering it seemed happy that I said "thankyou" in Korean. I don't know much but I know thank you. Little things can go a long way. 
Groceries for next week were delivered today. If I run out of snacks, I will eat lettuce. I guess I should've been more specific as a I received the equivalency of three salad bags and a smaller individual salad. I might go through one or one and a half in a week. I might not be too hungry for salad after this.

Then I have popcorn for movies or just a snack. Good filler if you're hungry and don't want many calories. 


Tonight I'm going to mix the precooked white rice with chicken breast, bok choi, and cook together egg to be able to scoop the mixture into seaweed pieces. I love tuna fish and rice and then scoop it into the seaweed and roll it. Kind of like scooping stew with bread and rolling it in together before eating it like a little sandwich. 


I have been reading Trevor Noah's book Born a Crime. Whatever your feeling about him or his humor, I recommend his book about growing up in South Africa during apartheid and right after. I think it's really good. 

I'm reading this through my library's ebook lending system called Overdrive. I highly recommend as they allow you the same amount of time to borrow books, but the system automatically returns it for you. I.E., NO late fees. That's especially nice if you're forgetful.
No I just have to figure out what to do when my card expires as they usually want you to see them in person to renew the card every year. I don't read that much especially when I'm busy. I need to though as it helps when I want to write. It expands my vocabulary and makes me very thoughtful.

Going to try again to write... Tomorrow I escape. My time of leave has been granted for once a month. I can walk the plank and jump onto the sandy beach without fear of the crocodiles. Well, in reality I'm escaping the crocodiles. I have to do this at least once a month. It helps to renew strength of mind. The renewal doesn't last very long but it is there.  My writing may seem disjointed at times. I'm not sorry for that. It is necessary to be perfectly honest so that I do not mention any particulars. January 23rd Ikea! Looks very similar to the US Ikeas. I guess they're designed pretty much the same with cultural and legal tweaks to make for local standards like kimchee rice with Swedish meatballs. Finally realized not to add the fillings until after the base of the omelette. Cooked the onion, colored bell peppers, and mushroom. Set them aside and then cooked the egg flat. When it was more than half done, added the veggies that were sauteed in coconut oil, salt, pepper, and (my standard) turmeric.  My workspace. Enjoying the kindergarten class. Is it child labor to have them color the shapes? I'm going to cut them out later, laminate, and use them for learning activities. That class is fun. Just have to move and be speaking English with them. Of course, what I say and do is very purposeful but it's fun at the same time. Sejong City Hall - used the panorama setting with the camera vertical to get this picture. The angle was too tall and too wide for regular pictures. Panorama has other uses beyond the 360 degree view.
